LEVEL 1 - Introductory Rear Foot Mechanics

LEVEL 2 - Introductory Fore Foot Mechanics

  • Fore foot mechanics and 1st ray function/ evaluation.
  • The relationship between biomechanical deformities and common injuries.
  • Hands on assessment of the fore foot, fore foot neutral
  • Measurement techniques
  • Wedging and troubleshooting

LEVEL3 - Clinical Biomechanics Toolkit

Consolidates the biomechanical theory and skills presented in the L1 and 2 introductory courses. Introducing a system for approaching clinical biomechanics by proposing a ‘clinical biomechanics toolkit’.

Topics include:

  • Clinical Biomechanics toolkit
  • Foot function in perspective
  • Gross foot dysfunction
  • Identification and management of abnormal foot function
  • Discussion of different treatment options

Attendance should give practitioners confidence in placing biomechanical skills and knowledge into a clinical context. Excellent as a follow on from the Level 1 or 2 courses or for those simply looking for a refresher course.
