Ideal to use in nail sulci for the removal of large amounts of onychophosis (OP) pre or post nail trimming. With the larger triangle shaped head and the deeper grooves within the file area.

This Blacks file is ideal to use after using a skin softener e.g., Laufwunder Nail and Skin softener (formerly Salu) order code 03663

Could be used for the checking of the matrix area to ensure all of the nail matrix has been removed following a TNA or PNA.

It could be used to rub phenol into the nail matrix during nail surgery, depending on the method of phenol application you were taught with during your undergraduate training
