SafeTPen™ Liquid Phenol Applicator

SafeTPen™ is a single-use phenol applicator designed to make the application of liquid phenol easier to control during nail surgery procedures. Its ultra-fine tip allows practitioners to deliver phenol accurately to the nail matrix, while the sealed design helps reduce the risk of spills, splashes and unnecessary exposure.

Each SafeTPen™ contains 0.4ml of liquid phenol, 89% USP.

What is SafeTPen™ used for?

SafeTPen™ is used by trained healthcare professionals to apply liquid phenol to the nail matrix during nail surgery procedures. It provides a more controlled alternative to handling and applying phenol from a separate container.

How does SafeTPen™ improve control during phenol application?

The ultra-fine applicator tip supports precise and controlled delivery directly to the treatment area. This helps practitioners manage how and where the phenol is applied, reducing the risk of overapplication.

How does SafeTPen™ support safer phenol application?

The liquid phenol is contained within a glass ampoule, which is sealed inside a protective plastic applicator. This enclosed design helps reduce evaporation and eliminates the need to pour or decant liquid phenol, minimising the risk of accidental spills and splashes.

Why is the phenol coloured blue?

The liquid phenol contains a blue dye to make it easier to see during application. This improved visibility helps practitioners monitor where the phenol has been delivered and supports more accurate treatment.

How is SafeTPen™ activated?

SafeTPen™ features a simple Snap, Snap, Squeeze activation:

Snap the device at the marked points to break the internal glass ampoule.
Squeeze the applicator to release the liquid phenol.
Apply the phenol using the ultra-fine delivery tip.
