Supporting Crisis at Christmas

Supporting Crisis at Christmas

Whilst most of us will be fortunate enough to enjoy our Christmas surrounded by family and friends, eating traditional fare, opening presents all in the warmth of our homes, please spare a thought for the homeless and others less fortunate...

Every year, Crisis at Christmas opens its doors to the homeless, offering much needed warmth, healthcare, food, and companionship. For over 30 years, Canonbury have been a key partner with Crisis, donating instruments, consumables, footwear, and equipment which enables the podiatry service to operate effectively and provide treatments for a whole range of foot conditions.

Canonbury are extremely proud to be part of this important cause, enabling hundreds of homeless people to access podiatry services, which offers either one-off treatments or refers guests to year-round services. That’s hundreds, if not thousands, of corns, calluses, blisters, and infections Crisis, with Canonbury’s support, have helped treat

By providing these donations, along with the generosity of an army of other volunteers and partnerships donating time, skills, and goods, Canonbury are doing their bit to help support people in rebuilding their lives and leaving homelessness behind for good.

"We would like to thank Canonbury for their long term support in donating the equipmant for the podiatry service, which helps us provide homeless people with vital support at Christmas."

Ian Richards, Head of Crisis at Christmas

"Canonbury has always held a very strong ethos around Corporate Social Responsibility and how we give to the very community which we rely upon, and which relies upon us.

Canonbury chose Crisis at Christmas as its charity partner for two simple reasons: it helps those who are often marginalised, misunderstood, or ignored by society as a whole and it provides a service which has a direct connection to our core purpose as a business."

Simon Wheeler, Canonbury Managing Director
